You begin by chatting using the clicking the chat icon at the bottom right, or clicking here to leave us a message. We then answer your questions and guide you into your own private area of the site to put together your custom package.
All tour packages have the same first two days:

Transportation: Board the Polar Bear Express in Cochrane at 9:00 am. Enjoy the scenic ride and dining car! We'll meet you at the train and escort you to your accommodations. You will get a tour, and perhaps stay overnight (based on availability) in the historic Hudson’s Bay Staffhouse. The tour will be conducted with motorized freighter canoes.

Cree Cultural Experience: Enjoy a traditional Cree dinner either at the Cree Cultural Interpretive Centre or at our keepaychum cabins, meet local artists, and take home a locally crafted memento.

Morning Trek: Start your day with a hearty breakfast onboard as we head upriver towards James Bay and the bird sanctuary. Included can be fishing for your lunch, if you have a fishing license. Indulge in a traditional Cree shore lunch with the menu customizable to include fresh fish fried over a campfire along with fried or roasted potatoes, indigenous meat stew, bannock on a stick, or even sconedogs (bannock wrapped wiener on a stick).

Convenient Return: We'll ensure you're back in time for the train departure.
Three Day Tour continues

Campfire Dinner: Feast on duck or goose (subject to availability) and bannock roasted over a campfire, accompanied by home-cooked dishes and stories by your guide and perhaps a Cree elder. Perhaps you will see the Northern Lights!

Southern Exploration: On the third day, we expand your northern experience by venturing south on the east side of the Moose River, at a slow, leisurely pace with time to stop for photographs and exploring or fishing. We enjoy shore lunch at Moose River Crossing, and return on the west side of the river, arriving at 3 so you can make the 5 pm train.
