Winter Road Three-Day Adventure

James Bay, Ontario is the deep freeze of all deep freezes if you are coming from a southern location. Temperatures of -50°C with bitter strong northern winds make trekking something only the most hearty or adventurous take on. However, the dry cold and crisp night air is ideal for viewing Northern Lights and with two nights up here, your chances of being awed by these mesmerizing light shows are strong!

This three-day sledding tour offers the ultimate racking the clicks with 260 km each way of winter road and off-trail driving. Sled up from Moosonee to Attawapiskat where you will overnight. Your return journey back down the winter road can be by sled or, for a completely different experience, by truck. Our tours are fully customizable!

Take the Polar Bear Express train from Cochrane to Moosonee. Truly a bucket list trip complete with dining car and old-fashioned comfort with 5 hours of watching the landscapes transform from familiar forests to the land of little sticks!
